Delivering client work
Good client work takes focus, but the business around that work still needs attention.

The Fracxio Fractional Network
Fracxio connects experienced independent professionals with startups and SMEs that need their expertise. Whether you are an established fractional executive, consultant, adviser or considering an independent business, your experience could help solve real business problems.
You do not have to fit a particular job title. What matters is the value you bring and your interest in delivering it through business-to-business engagements, not applying for jobs.
Free initial submission. No ABN or subscription payment required to get started. Nothing is published automatically.
Your first profile
Tell us about your experience, the business situations you can help with and how you prefer to engage. Your first profile is a starting point for discussion and refinement, not the finished public version.

Start with your experience
You do not need your entire consulting or fractional offering worked out before you start. Tell us where you have experience, what business challenges you can address and the engagements that interest you.
We review submissions and talk with prospective members before publication, so we can develop a clearer, agreed representation of their capabilities. Your initial information may also help us consider potential matches internally, subject to review and permission controls.
An important distinction
Fracxio is for experienced people who operate, or seriously intend to establish, independent businesses providing expertise to other businesses. We are not a job board or recruitment agency for part-time employment.
If you are considering consulting, advisory or fractional work, you can start before establishing a business structure. Commercial readiness matters before taking on B2B engagements, not before submitting your initial profile.
Running a fractional business
A fractional business still has to create demand, stay visible, manage relationships and keep developing the business around the expertise being delivered.
Good client work takes focus, but the business around that work still needs attention.
Relationships and referrals often get a fractional business started. Building consistent visibility and new connections takes ongoing effort.
Businesses often recognise the problem before they know which title, service or capability to look for.
Positioning, relationships, systems, collaboration and commercial discipline all matter alongside delivery.
Network value
Fracxio is designed to support the professional relationships, visibility and business development that sit around your client work.
Present your capability around the business situations where you are useful, not just a title or CV.
Be considered when genuine business needs align with your capability and working style.
Build relationships with other independent experts whose capability complements your own.
Develop the positioning, relationships and commercial foundations that support a sustainable portfolio of work.
Capability first
Fracxio profiles are built to show where your experience becomes useful to a real business. Familiar role descriptions can help, but they are only shorthand for the capability behind them.
Businesses should be able to understand:
Different ways to work
The right engagement depends on the business need, the work involved and the way your capability creates value.
Embedded fractional leadership
Recurring advisory support
Project-based work
Specialist intervention
Part-time operating support
Collaborative multi-expert engagements
Collaboration
Real business problems often cross functional boundaries. The Network makes it easier to know and work with other independent experts whose capability complements your own.
Joining the Network
We make it easy to begin, then take care in developing the right capabilities and relationships. Every submission is reviewed. Membership and public publication are separate steps, and neither is automatic.
01
Submit your initial capability profile for free. You do not need an ABN, subscription payment or a fully formed consulting offering to begin.
02
We review your information and arrange a conversation before publication. Together we can clarify where your experience helps businesses and refine your profile.
03
We explain the B2B expectations, readiness requirements and subscription. Where there is a mutual fit, membership proceeds through a separate invitation and agreement.
04
Public visibility requires review, your permission and mutual agreement. We can consider your capabilities for internal matching earlier, and you can request updates as your offering evolves.
Network membership
Standard Fractional Network membership is paid. These options are discussed after review, through a separate invitation and agreement. Submitting your initial profile is free and does not start a subscription.
Membership does not guarantee opportunities.
