An example of the work
Brought in to help a manufacturer with a failed ERP rollout. This affected their ability to understand costs in the business along with any reliable financials. They were also not lodging their ATO commitments. I came in and demystified the accounting and got their ATO lodgements up to date. The engineers in the team were able to corroborate the costs and how the bills of material should be working. We descaled the ERP and rolled out a different accounting and inventory management solution. After that project, the business enjoyed working with me and I have stayed on as a fractional CFO and we have worked on many business improvements including price rises, cashflow management, financial modelling and forecasts. We built their first ever budget and employed a General Manager to help the owner avoid having to do every job. We employed a Finance manager as their first ever full-time finance role and I continue to mentor her. We're about to start building our a CRM to take further reliance off the owner.
